Crestone Peak, Crestone Colorado

Crestone Peak

Welcome to our unique community...

Nestled at the base of the 14,000-foot Sangre de Cristo Mountains in southern Colorado, Crestone is known for its mystical qualities, its "special energy." Crestone is home to dozens of spiritual and retreat centers, healing arts practitioners, writers, artists and other residents who choose a contemplative lifestyle. Crestone is also widely known as a mecca for alternative building and environmental sustainability projects. The community serves as a model for how spiritual and religious traditions from around the world may co-exist peacefully and intentionally, and how spiritual and environmental consciousness go hand in hand. Many believe Crestone to be "Shangri-La," "Shambhala". ...Heaven on Earth.
