The Windhorse is an alternative transportation service that runs on donation.
We figure a base cost of 50 cents a mile TOTAL (it's always a "round trip" for our driver!) to keep the Windhorse on the road. Tips beyond that are always welcome!
The good news is that all riders share the cost, so if you can be flexible, we can be cheaper!
The Windhorse jeep can accomodate four passengers and luggage. A back-up van is available for larger groups.

If you are using Denver International Airport, we suggest you add a flight to Alamosa and we'll provide transportation to or from there.
One way suggested donations from Crestone to our most common destinations are:
Alamosa: $65
Salida: $70
Colorado Springs: $250
DIA: $400 (we suggest flying to Alamosa)
Boulder: $350
If you will be using us for a round-trip, we ask for a deposit for your your return ride. Custom, Courier and Errand runs in the San Louis Valley are negotiable depending upon the number of clients we can serve on one run but it's usually $15.
Tours are $60 for a half day for the first person, $25 for each additional person. (or 25.00 an Hour)
